Liverpool away. How will it go ?
Liverpool v Aston Villa Saturday 26th September 2015
After the excitement of the derby win against Blues it's back to the real deal of the Premier League.
Liverpool away is the test on Saturday and a difficult test it's going to be. We are more than capable of winning this game and winning it well. Lets hope that Sherwood does not have a brain freeze again with his tactics and team selection like he did in the Leicester game.
Confidence should be high for this game, plus the added spice of getting one over the Scousers who stole Benteke.
So what's your thoughts on this one guys and girls ?

Re: Liverpool v Aston Villa Saturday 26th September 2015
We need to stop the rot and try to pick up points over these next 7 games, I am not very hopeful, in truth, that we will be in double figures by the end of November!!
However, I've had an encouraging chat with my Liverpool supporting mate today, and he reckons this Liverpool side is the worst he can remember. He is certain Villa will get something on Saturday.
I've gone for the draw as Liverpool's inefficiencies will most likely be tempered by Sherwood's attempt at game management, hence the chances of us capitalising are pretty slim.
Still, a point will be a good point, however it comes.
Edit: I think I would rather Benteke played as Micah would have had the cigar on against him....Danny Ings is likely to cause us more problems I think.

I hope our away fans are singing "sacked in the morning" to BR, but for Villa to win for a third year running at Anfield, I cant see it happening!
Is Gana & Traore fit yet?

Considering the encouraging signs from a couple of our new boys I'd hate to see them take a step backwards. I'm bravely hoping for them to kick onwards.

Great time to play Liverpool at Anfield, Henderson out injured and Coutinho still suspended i think? I think we could really get at them, just send out a solid back 4 (Hutton, Clark, Richards, Amavi) and i think we're half way there. I've seen nothing from Liverpool this season that worries me, Benteke aside! He is a possible match winner for them if fit, i've heard he's struggling with hamstring?
4-3-2-1 Guzan, Hutton, Amavi, Richards, Clark, Sanchez, Gil, Vertout, Grealish, Ayew, Sinclair.
I've assumed Gueye still injured with hamstring and also no Traore.
If they are fit and up for selection then we are beginning to look like we have attacking choices aplenty, Sherwood will have his work cut out finding best 11s for games.............what a shame (missed opportunity?) that there isn't a Charlie Austin at the head of that christmas tree to take the chances!

Bad news is that Lovren is apparently doubtful ..... prefer him to play as he has been a weak link for them, so far.
Would like to see Gestede and Ayew as out and out strikers with either Jack or Carles in the hole. Four across the back and two sitting midfielders.
TS will have a selection dilemma if both Traore and Gueye are considered fit enough.

They're overrated these days. Rush-back is where it's at.

Can't see that we'll manage a clean sheet today so I'd hope that we can get at least as many as we concede.. 1-1.

LIVERPOOL: Mignolet, Clyne, Sakho, Skrtel, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Milner, Coutinho, Sturridge, Ings. Subs: Bogdan, Toure, Gomez, Lallana, Allen, Origi, Ibe.
VILLA: Guzan, Hutton, Richards, Lescott, Amavi, Gana, Sanchez, Westwood, Grealish, Gestede, Sinclair. Subs: Bunn, Clark, Bacuna, Veretout, Ayew, Traore, Gil.
Would have preferred to see Clark, Veretout and Ayew for Lescott, westwood and Sinclair. Good bench options though

I like Sinclair, he troubles the opposition as he makes well timed runs, I must admit Lescott looked shaky vs Blues and Westwood for me hasnt done enough this season to keep being in the starting lineup. That is the most exciting bench I have seen for years!

Gestede not miles wide with that header. That's what we need to do for him. Ball outwide and whip it in

26% possession, 1 shot on target, and lucky to only be one goal down.

This Liverpool team is really really average, let's least have a go at these, they have been poor, we have been totally abject this half and only 1-0 down.
