Only seen him play once, against Liverpool in cup. He looked a beast - could see one of many Jordan's racing onto flickons and hold ups.

Gestede scored 20 in 39 last season, 12 in 20 the season before.
But not that great before that. Only played 3 games in the Premier League before so need Ade with him IMO

Yep would make sense an older head - and a rookie (ish!)

I expect ade to happen - but it might be a loan right at the end of the window....

I fully expect us to sign Adebayor on loan, don't want to sign him out right.

Gestede is 26 with a decent record in the division below, he's hungry.
Kojak is 26 and was top scorer in the europa league, he also works hard and looks hungry.
Gabby has been fucking useless for 2 seasons at least.

We need experience and a motivated Adebayor brings that. We could fall flat on our faces with him if his head isn't right. but equally he could score 15-20 goals for us and help bring on Gestede etc for future seasons.

I don't get why we want Michu. Whispers says we want to play him as an attacking midfielder, but he was only really good for Swansea when he played as a striker. It's been a few years since I last saw him play, but he was unstoppable in his first season for Swansea. Powerful finisher who had good touch and movement for a big man, but I don't remember him working hard for the team and he's been injury prone recently.

Some seem to prefer to judge on the not playing rather than the playing side. Only question that should be asked is will he contribute to our team? That goes for every signing!

Rudy in could be Sherwoods fall back if Adeye does drop off at anytime and if someone has to be moved on then I really hope it is Gabby not Kojak, think he has alot more to offer than a half arsed Gabby

It looks to me if we do sign Gestede then Sherwood will be looking at Adebayor (if he signs) and Gestede as number 9's, with Ayew and Gabby as number 10's or even wingers. Kozak could find himself moved on, which would be a shame as he's looking sharp and is the kind of unsung worker that every team needs.

The amount of work Kozak has put in to his recovery alone is admirable. Im sure he is a little rusty after such a prolonged absence from the game, personally I think he should be given a chance, but I can understand the desire for a fresh start, its badly needed.

I wonder whether when Okore's fit Sherwood will look to use him as right back? I remember before we signed him I watched him play a cracking couple of matches against Chelsea in the CL at right back. Chelsea were rumoured to have tried to sign him on the basis of those matches. It could make Richard's job as the right sided CB a lot easier.

Ive met him in person and believe it or not, he's a really nice guy. This is when most of the Aussie squad were too cool for school and ignored everybody.
The only other guy that gave us time of day was another player I couldn't stand before I met him - Shane Watson. Again, a nice guy when you meet him.

Kozak I think could be an important player for us this season. Ok he had had a awful injury, but when I have seen him play this season he has been ok. He plays for the team he come back to supports the defence and the midfield, at wolves he was all over the pitch covering making runs, passing and scoring twice. Did Gabby show this much industry? I think not. Lets give him a go, he has an eye for goal, and he can improve with match time.
