Thought I'd give this thread a bump.

We haven't seen or heard anything about the kit this year have we? We know the sponsors, but that's it. The last few years have seen us unveil the kit on Father's Day weekend, yet that's been and gone and still not even an announcement on a date (or have I missed something?) other macron customers have their kit out so where's ours?

I was told a while back we had a new kit supplier, could this be a reason why there's no news yet? I know we're traditionally quite late to release, but as I said under macron we've released/unveiled it on Father's Day.

Part of me thinks it's been held back for a series of announcements. Takeover, players, kit, possibly north stand refurb and sponsorship etc!!

What are your thoughts? Where's our kit Villa?....

Well there is clearly a Macron logo on the image on Villa's website....but the same image is cropped on Intuits website, and no manufacturer logo is visible.

I think this delay is definitely odd aswell...purely on a finanicial footing...how many kits would they of sold for fathers day? how many of those 'fathers day presents' will still be bought?

You'd have to think that either it wasn't profitable to have the weekend festival (not enough kits sold etc) or maybe too much to organise with so much going on behind the scenes re a takeover. I just find it odd there's no actual date for the unveiling or launch. If it's ready why not show us and build anticipation? What are they waiting for? I haven't seen the image on the OS, but of macron is clearly visible along with the new sponsor we can rule out a kit supplier change as reason for the delay. Hmmm?!

Regardless of who supplies the kit etc, Aston Villa always seem to be behind the other teams in the Prem when it comes to a new release.

From another site a guy who works for macron has said he believes Umbro will be our kit maker next year. Fond memories of umbro kits as they were my first ones. Don't really care who it is as long as they pay us big $$$$

I was told it was Umbro for this coming season. I too love Umbro and think they did brilliantly with the England kits, really loved them.

Ha Well one isn't Chinese and the other American, so it is a little different. Also I'm not ITK BUT there are 7 people on here who know who the kit supplier is 8) Haha! joking aside, I think judging by OS pics with new sponsor it's still Macron this year sadly.

Yeah that's him. He's always claimed to work with or for Macron, has always been FAIRLY accurate regarding kits. He's never leaked pics but his descriptions have always seemed pretty on the money.

It is definitely Macron this year, the new training kit is in the shop and it's awful , I've just seen the new Bolton wanderers macron kit, and it's quite possibly one of the worst and weirdest football shirts I've ever seen. I would love Umbro to make Villas kit/apparel. Until we ditch this awful cheap macron tat and the RL designed crest I won't be spending any hard earned at the club shop

This may be a mad question....but who is the player kissing the badge in the picture? I've decided it's an actor/model/macron employee....cos I have no idea who it is!
