Will we win this time?

Assume Gil is injured as he's not even on the bench.

Knock in training apparently. I think if it was a league match they'd risk him on the bench but not for the cup

Has Sherwood gone down to the dressing room to rally his troops ?
OR
Gone to resign already!?

Well at least he's getting to see first hand just where our problems lie. No one to play with Benteke, midfielders passing sideways or backwards and misplaced passes left, right and mostly backwards.
Bacuna's making a load of mistakes, I hope he calms down and keeps a little more onside. Weimann needs to calm down too.

Hopefully gone in the dressing room to tear them a new one.

So a midfielder finally scores and it's one of the ones Lambert never felt like playing. Good work Bacuna!

Next time I go to Villa Park, I'm gonna take a box jellyfish to throw at Westwood.

Today was the most effort I've seen from Benteke in months. And I hate to say it but I thought Cleverley did alright too

That half time team talk by Sherwood will become a mythical moment if we win the Cup!

I'd love for Sherwood to do the post match interview and say " NOW we go again"

Re: Aston Villa v Leicester FA Cup 5th round Feb 14th/15th.
Whatever he said, he was direct and to the point because the players seemed to be out early.
Leicester were awful beyond words and if Pearson is in a job tomorrow, I'll eat my shoes.
For Villa...a shit first half with the usual lack of belief, lack of ideas, etc. How do you change that in ten minutes? Back to basics I guess: get the ball in the box and back yourself to get on the end of it. Simple but, as it turned out, effective enough.
Westwood was utter shit and swapped for Delph. Cleverley looked good for a change as did Weimann although he and Benteke seem to get in each other's way a lot. Bacuna was great so quite why he was going to be hooked prior to his goal, I don't know.
Given makes me shit myself when he has the ball at his feet and under pressure.
Cissokho had a bloody awful first half and I'm surprised none of the supporters ripped out their chair and threw it at him.
Grealish was shit. I was hoping he'd light the place up and slot through that glorious pass that would end the game but.....he was shit.
Hutton did mighty well against Sluuurp but looked a bit tired and slack-arse in the end which cost us.
Vlaar was ok. Clark was brillant and that tackle! BOOOM!
But whatever belief Sherwood instilled ran out because the players were so static at one stage I reckong I could stick them to my ceiling. And they were panicking like Malaysia Airlines passengers in the end.
CALM THE FUCK DOWN!
Anyway, if Sherwood did influence that in just a few minutes then I look forward to seeing what we're lke after he's had them for a week or two.
So far, the coin flip is working.

Sherwood' celebration for Sinclair's goal (great ball over from CB20, and Sinclair was always looking to score. A good sign) was great on the big screens

Bacuna had been dreadful but he was being played on the right when everybody knows he has a shot on him when he cuts in so play him on the left.
I think Benteke was shocked at how many chances he had in the second half and forgot how to take them. By Stoke next week he'll be firing again. Sherwood set that team up second half, even with the same players as the abject display first half and got incredible performances out of them we haven't seen this season.
This could be the turning point of the season and finally a chance to progress

Must be the FA cup, gabby injured. Just a bit suspicious.
Yep cleverly had a good game, weinmann was back to his old self a fair performance, what ever was said at half time worked wonders, could it be that Sherwood saw the blatley obvious and the team responded.
Its nice to be through to the next round, lets see how we play against stoke. VTID
