Kendrick calls for change!
Probably merits a thread of its own -
Explosive stuff from kendrick calling for lamberts head amongst others - wonder how welcome he will be at the next press conference
@birminghammail: Aston Villa: The 5-point plan: Strong words from @matkendrick on Villa's future - http://t.co/5UZVSn1LvC #avfc http://t.co/AsojfHNE4c

Lambert gets very prickly when criticised - has been known to ban press members - be interesting to see how he reacts .
No question in my mind - kendrick is right on all 5 counts.

Re: Kendrick calls for change!
If Kendrick is calling for the head of Lambert, it's the biggest indication that lambert has lost the crowd.
I'd agree that he knows there will be changes from the top downwards, and is just putting pressure on at the moment.
I just hope all this uncertainty doesn't throw the team any more on Saturday as we really really need the 3 points.

Sorry about that - I moved it as I felt it merited a thread of its own.

This article was well overdue - glad lerner is around as he will surely be alerted to it .

Re: Kendrick calls for change!
Kendrick appears to change course when the wind changes, noticeable this follows some market research on supporter opinion by the mail. Still, it is welcome, as its very presence confirms that change is afoot.

I don't think Lambert takes too much notice of what Kendrick says now but irrespective of the article I think the decision has already been made concerning Lambert's future here.

Re: Kendrick calls for change!
This is quite normal when a manager is on the ropes. Kendrick won't care if he misses his cucumber sandwiches for one last game.

No problem at all. I agree that great articles deserve a thread of their own. It's de-press-ing if they don't get one.

Totally agree, he has certainly 'grown a pair' to into print with this.Alpe_DHuez wrote:Kendrick has balls.
However, he always seems to get a bit bolshy when he knows something is in the wind, so I suspect (hope !) he is already ITK here, and feels like he is on 6 foot of concrete.
Fingers crossed eh ?

Lambert is finished whether Lerner stays or goes .
His 2 years in charge have been an utter embarrassment - farcical that he hasn't been fired several times over.
Lerners stupid comments about an amazing effort show just how out of touch he is - lambert presided over the culverhouse karsa fiasco as well as several other embarrassments.

I do not believe there is any chance of paul lambert being here next season - if you think he will be trez then you are entitled to that opinion.

Nothing is for sure at the moment as far as Lambert is concerned. He must be seriously worried though.

Re: Kendrick calls for change!
I've stuck by Lambert up until the Stoke debacle but I can't see anyway he will be here beyond the end of the season. His position now is about as tenable as McLeish's at the end of his brief stay

Eastie, don't get me wrong, I totally hope your right, ive had enough of Lambert now aswell. I just don't see how you can sound so convinced, this is AVFC and RANDY LERNER we are talking about here

I don't see lerner being here to be honest- and if he was I think he would go for moyes.

Re: Kendrick calls for change!
As kendrick says in a recent poll 86% want him sacked - that's quite a statement - his position is untenable for me .
