That's interesting, does that mean Chelsea are open to selling him?

I imagine they would be, but it's probably going to take a very big offer for them to sell him, Chelsea won't be desperate for the money, and they reportedly turned down a £25m bid from Tottenham in the summer.

Only way I can see him leaving now is if he does a Delph style u-turn, or if one of the clubs in a relegation battle gets desperate and offers Chelsea a silly amount of money for him.

Other that looks like he's staying put.

I like to think he'll stay with us, fire us to promotion and then we can buy him in the summer. I really like the kid.

Tim Spiers, a reporter for the Express & Star is now saying that the move to Wolves isn't dead... So maybe best to await confirmation before we believe anything either way.

Although Grealish has just tweeted this... https://twitter.com/JackGrealish1/status/1082627547307933696 ....

So hopefully he knows something.

Going on the way we have performed before in the transfer market I would doubt it, just shows you 40 mill here, 25 mill being offered for Vertout & about the same for Amavi they weren't such bad buys were they, we live & learn AGAIN. UTV

Welcome to Kourtney. I hope you do a lot better than the last guy we had (still have) who was built like a brick outhouse, could allegedly play at CB and FB and carried an injury.

Some guy on H&V reckons Rico Henry is having a medical. Nothing from Villa Transfers and not backed up anywhere else as far as I can see.

The Rico Henry rumours are all over twitter, but he's been in training today with Brentford (photos on their official twitter), so there's no way he'd be having a medical with us later today, after that.

Lyden out with a long term injury, people seem to think that we called him back from his loan, to give him a chance in the first team, but in reality his loan was only six months to begin with, I doubt he would have gotten anywhere near being selected. Still a shame for him though, will be 23 later this month, and hasn't really got going anywhere, should have gone out on loan much earlier in his career.

So "Sicknote" Lansbury has a tight hamstring and will not be available for Wigan.
We really cannot rely on him as cover for Jack (or anyone else for that matter).
We still need a LB plus a DCM. I would think about keeping O'Hare back from loan as creative cover.

Keeping O'Hare is okay if we actually give him a chance, but as it is he's only made two first team appearances in the last year, both in the FA cup. It's a pity we're not blowing teams away, as then we'd be able to put him on the bench, and then bring him on when the game's already won, for experience... But if he's not going to play at all, then he's better off going on loan and getting game time, otherwise his career is going to stagnate, because u23 football isn't doing him any good, same applies to Doyle-Hayes, and Hepburn-Murphy.

Hepburn-Murphy gone on loan to Cambridge in league two, Calderwood will be his manager, hopefully he uses him better than Bruce did in the league cup earlier this season.

RHM needs to stand out like a sore thumb at that level. Will teach him how to man up and get stronger. Can't do him any harm at all.

After the past 2 performances we seem to need about 22 new players?

Apparently Kodija had a knock and couldn't play against Wigan and was seen flying to France to visit family which he does on a regualr basis? No smoke without fire though?

The last two atrocious performances should at least persuade the owners to fund the two or three further incoming transfers that are needed. Saw some analysis yesterday of the table ifmatches only lasted 45 minutes, which seemed to demonstrate that we falling away in the second half whilst other teams get stronger (think it was on VT). Suggests we are not fit enough and need a new/better fitness coach.
Attitude/workrate and fitness please, Deano.

Do we have a fitness coach at the moment?
