I've been wondering this too but didn't want to say just in case something serious is up.

I think he mentioned in a previous post that he was losing interest, so maybe just that.

Re: Where is Trotters ?
We probably have about 20 regular posters, about 10 - 15 lurkers and usually 5-10 non forum member viewers although I can't tell how many of those are the same viewers repeating access more than once in a day.
Personally I quite like the "niche-ness" of tbar. Having lurked on a few bigger forums there's just too many posters and the threads are like ticker tape. One thing that does occur often on TBAR is that people often take the time to post what in football forum terms are lengthy posts, something I personally really like. I think on forums with loads of traffic people get a bit flamed for that, and often get other posters putting tl:dr in response.
Trotters absence does make me nervous as if the forum got broke, I don't have the access or the tech ability to fix things, so the life of the forum mirrors real life insofar as I literally don't know how long it will last without divine intervention!
The other major factor is that there might be new people wishing to join and I don't think i get notification of that and therefore might not be able to add new members.
So personally I'm just pressing on regardless as if TBAR went I probably wouldn't bother with another forum as I've invested too much time and effort over the last 4 years to feel like starting again and most forums seem to have the main clique of wankers and then a mish mash of decent posters and idiots.
Hope that helps.
