Speaking of Hutton can't believe Villa fans are having a meltdown about him not being offered a new contract, as if he's some kind of club legend, he's had a few good games at left-back, but for the most part he's been very poor for us, constantly giving the ball away, and with him being on £40,000 he's cost the club double figures in millions just with his wages alone since he's been here, next season if in the Premier league, we will need better, and if in the Championship, we'll need to cut the wage bill.

Always amazes me how his performances improve when it's contract conversation time.
Reminds me of that story that someone's manager actually wrote in their appraisal under the "Effort" section : "Works like a rat when cornered".
I think it does bring into focus how shite Taylor is at LB so as with Hutton, we'll need a replacement in the summer whether promoted or not.

There are some players probably on more than that who don't/won't play for the club, at least he gives a damn!

Although I do agree we can't offer him a new contract on the same terms.
