Groupon ?

Can't see it myself.

Chevrolet was the another rumour I heard, which I think was more feasible. But after a bit of digging found out that isn't the case.

I know Lycamobile were under consideration before we chose quickbooks.

It was icognitoAVFC who started that rumour on twitter she/he has a reputation for not being very reliable; , there was someone on twitter with a similar name who got quite a few things right so much that some thought it was Paul Faulkner, I think people get them mixed up sometimes.

That said she/he apparently got a few things right last summer, if I remember rightly including some of the fixtures for the forthcoming season before they were released anywhere else, so who knows.

No Idea if Groupon would be a good sponsor I suppose it depends on how much money they'd be prepared to play. One thing I do know is that it won't be Recon, like a lot of people seem to think, as we'd lose out on money if that were to happen.

Sources from inside the club say it is Groupon guys.

Won't Groupon want 50% off the sales price and then take a cut of what's left? What's happened to ACORNS?

Groupon would make sense, as Alibaba have a 5% stake, so there's a Chinese link in there and could be that Groupon want to break into the Chinese market.

Another rumour is that our new sponsor is a tv company\channel ......and thats why we haven't gone with the EFL live streaming deal.

A lot seem to be guessing at which big Chinese company Xia will have lined up for us, expecting a big money deal, but in reality It'll probably be something boring, and they'll play us an average amount of money. Unfortunately as a championship club we can't expect much more really.

We are of course at that time of the year when mock-ups start arriving on social media sites, and nothing should be believed until official confirmation from the club itself.

These mock-ups show Under Armor shirts complete with 'Millennium Films' as the sponsor.

That is of course the film company owned by Dr Tony Xia and has produced the Expendables films and other Hollywood releases.

Too short. Wrong blue. Why would Millenium Films be the sponsor unless it's to circumvent FFP?

Nah...I'll call fake purely on the design. It's absolutely hideous. Then there's the issue with it being designed on the very first version of MS Paint. The Millenium Films logo hasn't been edited properly and the away top has 50% more stripes on one side of the collar than the other.

For the Birmingham Mail to even run with that just shows was a shit-rag they are.

Agreed its complete fake sure its the same shirt in both pictures( look at the creases exactly the same), so it is two edited versions of the same picture

Those shirts looks fantastic. I'd prefer white over black away shirt though.
