Paul Clement has confirmed Swansea are close to signing Jordan Ayew from Aston Villa - with defender Neil Taylor going the other way. Clement admits that's likely to be the end of their business

Not overly impressed with this to be honest as I hoped that Ayew would have been given a chance with our new midfield as a forward.
Still perhaps it is for the best as he has not been happy here, think he will do well for Swansea, he has the ability just his attitude is questionable.

Hopefully we are getting some money as well! (i.e. the 'x' in the Doctor's tweet)?

Good riddance to Ayew - part of that shit attitude cohort of players that we'll do well without. I don't care if he was out of position, he constantly played with the facial expression of a toddler who's lost his mom at the shops.

Fill the team with winning attitude players and you'll get a winning team.

I'll be glad to see the back of him as well. I don't like him, as I've said here before. It's less to do with him not having a winning attitude - generally I think he puts in a lot of effort - but it's his attitude in general. As you say, it's written all over his face, the bloke's just a sugarbag.

A few journalists are tweeting that we're interested in Hogan now. But the rumours surrounding this mystery signing suggest that it's a lot further along than us just being interested. Maybe we could do a deal where we give them McCormack and some money.

Just to make myself totally ridiculed, I would be sorry to see Westwood leave. He has had to play with some crap players and not a lot of support whilst taking buckets of abuse. Some of you think there is a decent player in Ayew (I don't partly because he threatened to walk out of his last club to join us - hate that attitude which also became evident with us) I think there is a decent player in Westwood, if true Sean Dyche does not buy ejits.

AVFC transtweet are saying Hogan as well as Rhodes, Bloody hell if ever it happens.

I don't think Westwood is as bad as people make out either, he's not great, but play him next to decent midfielders and he'll do an alright job. But he's been a long time now, so maybe it's best if both he and the club move on.

I don't think anyone would ridicule you mate - everyone should be allowed to have an opinion on players - all valid - if often different. Personally I'll make him a packed lunch and drive the fucker to Burnley if that helps him go. As I've said many times, my opinion is that he seems like a good lad, but should never have been allowed to pull on a Villa shirt - a real hider in games when standing up and counting was what we needed - dunno if that's confidence or ability, but for me he has been a liability since day 1.

I am afraid I can't think ill of him, don't think he is good enough but has never moaned once for all the stick he gets from Villa supporters!

So I reckon the 99% + and - is the ayew  Taylor plus 5 mill. The other 2 in that original 3 are all but dead 0.5. The remaining minuses are 100% tish, 95% mac and 65% Westwood. I think the 50% and 95% is Hogan and Rhodes in that order.
