Re: fixtures 2016/7
I'm bloody flying to Cyprus on the Sunday for the opening match against Sheffield Wednesday so will miss that as I'll just be landing shortl after kick off, then will have to drive like a nutter from Larnaca airport to the house to catch the second half, two big away matches out the way though straight away and two very winnable home games to start off with.

Jesus... That really put it into perspective for me. I mean, I know we're in the Championship now, but seeing Barnsley and Rotherham away really kind of sent a shock to my system. It shows just how far we sunk under Lerner's destructive reign.

Hope we bounce straight back to the prem. But seeing some different names on the fixture list has really got me buzzing. There is football outside the prem ....despite what sky would like you to believe.

Yeah agreed Smetro - I'm really looking forward to it as well.
Be great to impress a whole new division of home supporters with our quite phenomenal and slightly mental away support as well - seen a few comments on Prem forums and newspapers where Prem team fans said they'll miss Villa away support. One Crystal Palace fan said we were by far the best they'd had, always brought loads, and never any trouble at all, just plenty of banter outside the ground. I hope we bring that atmosphere to a whole host of clubs that haven't had the pleasure.
