Well he's a genuine Villa fan with genuine financial influence and clout. Are we finally paving the way towards helping our idiotic owner out of the front door? I hope so because he is totally incapable of doing anything himself.

King is no fool and I'd hope he doesn't need to be a yes man to anyone. So surely he wouldn't put himself in the firing line just to go along with this management team of abject failures? Surely, at long last someone with a brain and a Villa heart has come in to make a real difference?

Im sorta on the fence with the king appointment - he's a villa fan - and clearly knows about money. Depends how much clout he has.

Im no lerner fan - but if he stays in the background, and appoints good people run the club - I see no reason why we can't be an upper mid table prem club. Even more than the lack of funds though - Lerner appointments to date have been wall to wall abysmal.
