Much of the same me thinks but you never know.
Tottenham v Aston Villa Monday 2nd November 2015 K.O 8pm
Back to the Premiership turmoil after a cup game away at Southampton.
Spurs away has not really been a happy hunting ground for us to be honest. Can we change that or will our dismall series of results thus far this season continue and we stay rooted to the bottom with another loss.
Harry Kane seems to have found his scoring boots again and should pose a real threat to us.
I would love to see us get some sort of positive result from this game but i just cannot see it, although, lets see who is in charge of the team for this game. McDonald or another, we just do not know as the usual Villa way takes it's course again .....Feed us shit and keep us in the dark..."Mushroom Army....Mushroom Army" should be our new chant.
Over to TBAR and your thoughts. UTV.

I've voted a draw because I'm going and don't want to vote for a loss!
Richards to put one on Kane early on, Sanchez or Gueye to put Erikson in their back pocket

I'm going to this one so I reckon we will get a 1-1 draw.

What was Lambert's record breaking losing streak? Surely we won't test that?

I honestly think we're just that bad. I can easily see us breaking all negative records we got until we're relegated. This is what years and years and years of asset stripping and no investments create.
We're a championship team now.

With Westwood back on corners, we're bound to score from one soon.

Absolutely spot on. If you keep doing the wrong things in terms of governance, sooner or later your chickens will come home to roost.
Guess what? They've arrived.
As you say we are now a Championship side (and arguably not a very good one) and the inevitable will happen whoever our new manager will be.
Prepare for an absolute mauling at Spurs.

I wonder if we'll play the same starting 11 as yesterday? Kozak and Ayew would be a nice pair up front, wouldn't they?

Quite possibly the best partnership we've had for a while. Richards and Clark/Okore at the back. Quite possibly the best partnership we've had for a while. Bit of creativity in midfield from Gil/Grealish/Gardner/Adama/Veretout and it all doesn't look quite so bad...
Until the team sheet

From what someone has told me we will be lucky to see Kozak play for us again. Not 100% on this but i would be very surprised if he is anywhere near the team sheet on Monday. Don't get me wrong, i like the guy but it would seem for some reason he is not in the plans at Villa. Sums our club up perfectly at the moment.

Micah Richards has come out with a number of things but this one tends to suggest the players blame themselves.
But when the manager sticks on a forward and Leicester just keep running through a Carlos Sanchez-shaped hole in the middle of the park, whose fault is that?
Slightly off topic, I know. Soz like.
"Leicester, 2-0 up. We should see out that game and go into defensive mode but we kept trying to attack."

Clark and Okore must be the starting centre halves if we're to have any chance with Richards out. If that doesn't happen it doesn't matter the rest of the team because we will struggle.
Adama, Gil, Gardner, Veretout. Would be nice to see them all given a chance and we might as well just go all out for the win because we can't defend for 90 minutes !

Has Richards not been our best central defender this season so far!?

If Richards is eligible then he has to play CB as he is our most consistant defender this year and one of the few players that shows any kind of commitment. Upfront I think Ayew deserves a start alongside Gestede. I would also love to see Westwood dropped for Gardner. Gil and Grealish to float around the pitch causing havoc.
Richardson, Lescott and Gabby placed in a bag with half tonne of bricks and thrown into the canal.

Not sure about Gestede. Whilst he might be good in the air in the box (if the ball is put right on his noggin with laser accuracy, he wins fuck-all of the ball outside the box. I don't honestly think he's won one 50/50 header and he doesn't hold the ball up much.
He's Darren Bent but without shooting boots.
Gardner: given that it's unlikely we'll get anything from this match, if he is fit - huge, massive IF - then I'd be tempted to give him a run, too.
As for Richardson, Lescott and Gabby, I don't believe canals are overly deep. If you're going to do a job, do it right.
