They never recovered from Peter Ridsdale, and the enigma (or should that be 'enema'?) that was the pug nosed numpty, did they?

Is it too much to hope that Newton Heath's current woes will spiral downwards in a similar fashion? Although, the Newtons are rich beyond belief...so probably won't happen.

Still. We can but hope.
