predict the result
Aston Villa v Crystal Palace.
We start 2015 with a very winnable game against a managerless Palace team. Can we finish the game with eleven players? It's three points right? It has to be!

A narrow 1-0 win to Villa, although I haven't got a clue how we'll actually get the ball in the net!

I went 0-0 v Sunderland and I fear more of the same. Palace will have a new man in place and we're the perfect team to play against when you need a result. Hope I'm wrong though

What is this word?!
I don't have a clue what will happen. No idea which players Lambert will choose (please not Richardson - he's ok but no Grealish) or how he'll set them up, or who'll get the card this time. Who knows if we'll only start playing when down to 10. Maybe we'll get better if two players get red carded.

It's a need to win game, Lambert needs to play attacking football, and stop picking his pets, also if he buys cleverly it will be throwing money down the drain. Another pissed off villa supporter.

Remember hoping we'd find a 20 goals a season striker...
Now we're just hoping for 20 goals in a season... (11 so far, in 19 games)

I'd give anything for Pulis to be the manager now ... Playing with 2 flying wingers and a top class center forward. If we had had a Benteke during the MON era we could easily have made the champions league.
We have the players in the squad but just need to use them properly.
I'm going for a 2-0 villa

Anyone else got a bad feeling that if Pardew goes to Palace they'll get 'new manager syndrome' just in time for our game and give us a tonking...?

Hoping we get a draw. Which, at home to Palace, is depressing!!

We're going to find our shooting boots one day, so in a mad rush of optimism I'm saying that it'll be on Thursday. Villa to win by three clear goals .... just don't ask me who's going to score!

Yup I think it's going to be 11 in 20 by Thursday evening.
Honestly I think we will be lucky to draw 0-0 and fully expect a late Palace winner.

Palace will be up for this game, players will be showing the new manager what they can do. Lambert needs to win this one.

How on earth can Delphs red card stand, footballs going soft we are being robbed of our most talented midfielder for 3 games due to a tackle that was a yellow card only !!!!!!!!!!!!

1st loss of 2015, we all know Lambert likes to give struggling teams a helping win and Palace players will be out to prove a point that it's the manager that was the problem, don't know how much of Lambert I will be able to take in 2015, he needs to stop been an ignoramus and get Benteke the supply he needs and get a fully fit creative CAM and show N'Zogbia the door.

Sorry but the tackle was reckless, I fully blame Delph for been rash and stupid when there was no need for his challenge and don't forget it's not like Delph is a saint when it comes to his "tackles".

Re: Aston Villa v Crystal Palace.
Nobody is going to buy our old bomb squad, bent and N'Zogbia are with us until there contract runs out.
Lambert has no idea on buying players, we have a long list of players that Lambert has bought and got rid because they were no good in the first place.
Maybe the new man from Liverpool has got a list of some exciting players?
Mind you it's down to how much pocket money we are going to get from our owner.

My bets on Vlaar, another player making sure he'll be fit for the January transfer window.
