Makoun back to the Prem
Papers are saying Sunderland and West Ham are considering signing Makoun for £1m in January. Odds on him looking like an absolute world-beater if he goes to them and destroying us when we meet?

It's allways the way, villa player that manager could not play in his tactical football game, or should I say so called tactics. Lambert has no idea of tactics look at last night for a good example.Villa_Dan wrote:Papers are saying Sunderland and West Ham are considering signing Makoun for £1m in January. He looked good in those few appearances he made... Was never going to be a Lambert kind of player tho as he's not 6'4" or a left back!!

Re: Makoun back to the Prem
Was he good but mismanaged and needed time to settle? Or was he just a bit shit?
A very similar player to Westwood I think. Tidy, not panicked when in trouble but not massively exciting either.
I'll certainly be watching with interest.

Run of the mill journeyman imo. Certainly no worse than what we have but not a great deal better either
