What's happening with the defence and where's our DM? I'm listening on the website and haven't a clue how we're lined up, which by this stage of the season should really be more obvious.

Still, we're in 10th now so hopefully there's a clause in Bruce's contract about dropping out of the top six. If Wigan score against Rotherham we'll be out of the top 10.

I'm going to go with:

1. Individual errors.
2. New players integrating.
3. Other new players not ready yet.
4. Sheffield being the better team on the day.

Exactly as predicted and expected. Sheffield look like a well trained, well coached, tactically aware football team. We look like a disjointed shambles.
We have the players but they need setting up correctly and teaching to press when we don't have the ball and pass and move when we do. The pig-headed stubborness of persisting with Jedinak at CB just to save face, even though it's obviously a failure. is beyond belief.
If Bruce has any honour, he will fall on his sword at 5pm tonight. If not, he should be sacked for incompetence tomorrow. Agnew as caretaker but Dean Smith or Brendan Rodgers should be tapped up asap.

For quite some time I've been thinking Bruce is playing not for Aston Villa or another promotion to his name but for his £3million payoff. There's no other reason for it. El Ghazi isn't playing in his natural position on the right because Elmo is there. Adomah is seemingly now out on his ear instead of on the left where he plays so well (despite playing out of position!). De Laet is a very good RB but no, we have to have a CB there etc etc etc. What Whelan is doing on the pitch is anyone's guess (just as the commentator says "and he's gone past Whelan"). In fact they've just carved through us and the goalie saved number five.

Bruce has lost the dressing room, and the respect of the players, you should not as a manager blame your players in public, we need a new manager in to sort out the team, get conferdence back, and play players in the right position. I would not give him any more games, time is up. If we keep him, we will be that far behind the leaders, we will have no hope of catching them.
