If Bruce has any decency he should just resign at the final whistle.

End of the road for Bruce. Sacked by 1030pm please Mr Xia. I'm afraid my initial thoughts on Bruce have come to fruition..........correction, it is worse.

It'll be "We lost Hogan to injury and it really impacted us" to replace the "We lost Elmohamady to injury and it really impacted us" from the Cardiff game.
What an awful football team this truly is. Bunch of defensive over the hill players who simply haven't a clue how to create effective forward momentum which gives the opposition the green light to go all out at them...they then tire by the second half and in the goals go. Welcome to Aston Villa 2017

He'll probably blame it on Green, saying if he'd have scored his early chance, it would have been a different game, he'll probably also say something like 'we can't keep turning up without our boots on'. Really he should just do the decent thing and resign.

Don't care what he has to say, just want to hear that he has gone.

This is another shocking display. I feel sorry for the away fans who have to watch this. How can any professional footballers be that bad. Its not fun watching this at all. I've had no enthusiasm for this season since pre-season was announced and I cant see it coming back any time soon

Hope that doesn't mean any kind of reprieve for SB

We're second from bottom, but more importantly eight points behind the top three already.

If he had an ounce of dignity he'd resign then at least it wouldn't always be down to the club to be binning managers

Re: Reading vs Aston Villa (could this be his last stand?)
We're actually worse than we're under di matteo at least we looked like scoring
What I can't fadtom is there is no game plan all we have is hit and hope
I had hoped this would change over pre season but Bruce is void of ideas
Honest the McGrath I think I would do a better job
Just pick your best formation and stick with it
At least then the players will no what the fuck to do
Bruce is a has been that doesn't believe in tactics fuck sake football is all about tactics
Has to go

Because I believe tonight is last chance saloon, I'm even more curious as to what the team will be.
As was obvious from last night's U23s team, I've already been shocked that O'Hare played as I expected to see him on the team sheet against Reading.
So as far as I'm concerned, that"s strike 1 against Bruce.
If Hutton is selected, that's strike 2.
I can only assume strike 3 and out will be the scoreline.
Looks like all 3 strikes folks.............Bruce out hopefully.

Re: Reading vs Aston Villa (could this be his last stand?)
We defended for 25 minutes at the end of the first half without even looking like mounting an attack unless it was a set piece where it was lumped into the box.
We didn't attack in the second half until we were 2 down.
Until he scored, I forgot CH was playing completely until there was a set piece for him to take.
I don't understand how there is so little plan, movement, ideas from so many good players.
How can it still be so bad!?
