I honestly think if we want promotion we need an attacking midfielder AND a striker because as this long hard bugger of a season in the Championship progress's there will be injuries there will be need to rest players and bring in other players and when i look at our options on the bench i know that is not suffice to change a game by bringing on a forward and winger/CAM to create that spark needed and that is currently, even if we sign a striker we will have Rudy as back up ok fair enough but creative wise we all know we lack in this department badly,

Hernandez at Hull had Diame in midfield i don't see us with that type of player and without winger or CAM added as the season wears on i can't see us being free scoring enough even signing a striker, ok we hit the post and bar with long range shots but how many chances are RMac Gestede Ayew missing imo not enough i would rather see us with players threading balls through and whipping crosses into the box chance after chance either missed or created i am not convinced our midfield is suffice attacking and creative wise to take us into the top two places which we should be heading,

I hope we sign pace upfront yes but also that player to thread them balls through like Diame for Hernandez or at least start the attacks off, Jedinak and Tish is a class pairing but i do worry at our depth squad wise and creative chances wise tbh still time left for us to get these players in i just hope its both not one or the other.

Really hope the Daily Star are right and RDM wants Viviani aswell as Hernandez or Valencia this would be addressing both our needs, Viviani i don't know much of at all but his goals and assists from midfield looks decent and what we badly need.
