Are we on a roll?
Aston Villa V Swansea City Saturday 21st March 15:00.
How does it feel to be an excited Villa fan again? There is a buzz in my house with 48 hours left before kick off. Can we carry on from our scintillating performance against Sunderland? Are Swansea worried about coming to Villa Park?
I watched last Saturday's superb display in a bar in the Canary Islands with a group of bonkers Villa fans, and I will remember the experience for a long time. It made me realise how much this great club of our's means to all of us. If I could have bottled the love and emotion that vibed around the bar last weekend It would be a prized possession!
So what's it going to be guys?
Win, Lose or Draw against Swansea?

I too think Villa will nick a win at home... 2-1 is my prediction
I do think that the lineup will adjust slightly- I agree with other forums stating that we need another MFer in the middle against Swans. I can see us going with that 442 diamond like we did against WBA. Maybe bring on Sanchez (Sinclair sits) at the bottom and put NZog at the top with Delph and TC on the edges?
Use the FBs for the overlap width. I'd defo keep Bacuna and Lowton in the side whippping in crosses! UTV!

Isn't Tim's Win Ratio with us now at 66%
WBA x2, Leicester FA cup & Sunderland?
Surely another win is too much to hope for. 4 in a row, we must have lost our grip on reality!!!
But I can't see any other result...
We pip them on form (just),
Our tails are up,
7 goals in 4 Premier League Games,
11 goals in 6 games.
Sherwood with a 66% win ratio.
Benteke has found out where the goal is
Gabby has worked out what a goal is
We have wingers playing football on the wings.
I guess when we come down from this it'll be a hard bite of reality, but right now I'm expecting 27 points from the next 9 games, and a Europa League spot...

I think we want it more than Swansea. They're safe on 40 points and they're still playing good football, but there's an impressive urgency to our play at the moment that makes us hard to deal with.

3-1 Villa win for me. I am just being greedy but i think we will put in another solid performance and the Beast and Gabby will be on fire.
Expecting Sinclair or Delph to score at least one.

I'm basing my optimism both on Swansea's current comfortable position, and the fact that being favourites to get three points doesn't suit them. They play their best football when they're underdogs.

Isn't it nice looking forward to a game!? It just feels like a new club and even if we lose we know we'll have given it a real go.
No real comment on the team or the formation; all I know is I trust in Tim and hope to see more of the same. Hutton or Bacuna? A genuine selection headache at full back. Hands up who thought that would ever be an issue? A genuine selection headache at left back too with Lowton seemingly reborn under Tim. Hands up who thought we'd even ever see him again, let alone being a competent attacking left back. (Let's not forget if it wasn't for his injury time gamble in the box we might not be on this running run we're on!)
In Tim we trust!

Staying positive and going for the win.
Absolutely no reason why we can't win this game, for once we are the team in form!

With the two Manc sides and Spurs coming up, a win today and results going our way would give us a nice cushion going into those games.
Though I will say, I don't fear those games the way I would have a few weeks ago - or any game, for that matter!

A draw would've been fair. Neither team deserved the win.

I just can't get my head around the love-in with N'Zogbia in, but I really, really, really can't get my head around Gil not being involved.

Very disappointng. We should have had at least a point out of that. I knew the run would end at some point but to lose at home to poxy Swansea in the dying minutes is a kick in the teeth.
The first half was bollocks.
