The subject of Nii Lamptey was just brought up by a fans' site on Facebook as one of the younger crowd had never heard of him.
According to wiki, A DNA test revealed he was not the biological father of his three children and he is currently seeking a divorce with his wife of 20 years. OUCH!
It's an old report, this, but it goes to show that just because you're a professional footballer doesn't mean it's all wine and roses...

I always thought his name was Nil. That's something else I've learnt recently. Remember going to Wigwam and watching him score twice for us. I thought he was ace.
