Villa Dream Team
So if all goes according to plan, if we manage to avoid relegation, we will hopefully get:
1. Wealthy new owners
2. A new manager
So I will give you 750 Million to build a squad and your pick of the worlds managers.
Over to you :)

NO! Someone German. Or that bloke who's running Atletico Madrid. Or that "El Loco" guy.
Basically, anyone but Lambert and I'm happy.

We really shouldn't base it on who you fancy though. Otherwise we'll have Ginola back.

Re: Villa Dream Team
For a long time I've been vehemently against a return for James Milner. But if we have wealthy new owners and a good manager then I might change my mind.

Re: Villa Dream Team
We have been crying out for a player who will grab the game by the scruff of the neck for the last 4 years.
That player was James Milner, who I'd have back in a heartbeat. His workrate alone puts the current weaklings in our midfield to shame.

Re: Villa Dream Team
Perhaps a pertinent question is - Who would be worth keeping out of the current squad?

Re: Villa Dream Team
Delph, Vlaar, Westwood (squad player), Tekkers, Guzan, Okore
That's about it I think....

I think Bacuna might develop into a good player. Not at right back mind you.

Re: Villa Dream Team
I'd keep Guzan, Steer, Bacuna, Okore, Vlaar, Westwood, Benteke and Kozak. Maybe Gabby and Albrighton too as impact subs but they'd really need to buck their ideas up.
Another massive clearout, woopee.

Harsh!!!
I'd keep Bowery too. Just to remind us what we actually tried to do between 2012 and 2014 and that this guy actually made a number of top flight appearances.
