Director of Football
I wonder what our DOF is thinking about what he is seeing? I guess he must be Dean Smith's immediate boss. Does he go to all the games?
Does he have any responsibility for training and match performance or is that all down to the Head Coach?
Perhaps time for the press to get an interview with him as well as Dean. I hope he would be supportive, but if he tried to distance himself from any responsibility for what is happening on the pitch, it would suggest a lack of togetherness.

Re: Director of Football
People talk about Smith rebuilding us in the summer, but this guy will probably be more involved in that process than Smith himself. In fact there's no 'probably' about it, both he and Purslow have pretty much said as much in their interviews. Of course if Smith is still around he'll have a say in player recruitment, but the idea is that Jesus Pitarch oversees everything, so if we do have a change of 'head coach', then it won't be too disruptive.
