I suppose people fall away as real life takes over, especially if they live a long way from B6 and the club serves up disappointment after disappointment. The Lerner years followed by the hope Xia brought with him and then the drudgery of Bruce... I know my wife doesn't like me disappearing for a day and coming back pissed off and £100 worse off (I mainly watch us lose when I do come up - I gave up on cup matches against lower league teams years ago!). I'm on a Facebook page or two, maybe that's where people are migrating.
