I think they count all season ticket holders whether they are there or not, so quite feasible it looked less than nearly 28k.
Quite sobering to think only around 7000 non-sth turned up and I think that's an indictment of SBs shite football (and the massive attraction that is Rotherham!)

I remember the days (pre-children and marriage...) under Lambert mostly when I used to come up to watch matches. I would select teams I thought we could beat because I wanted to see some football being played by us and not spend a load of time and money coming to watch a shit display and have a very lonely drive back home again being pissed off*. I honestly have no idea when I'll be free to come up again. Sadly I can't get away on Friday to the U23s match at Saints, about 15 minutes from my house.
*we usually lost, it didn't work.
