The Sky jinx thread 2017/18
So last season this was our record on sky.
Sheff Wed away= 1-0 loss
Luton away= 3-1 loss (cup game)
Derby away= 0-0 draw
Forest at home= 2-2 draw
Newcastle at home= 1-1 draw
Wolves at home= 1-1 draw
Birmingham away= 1-1 draw
Brighton away= 1-1 draw
Leeds away= 2-0 loss
Norwich away= 1-0 loss
QPR away= 1-0 win
Leeds at home= 1-1 draw
Wolves away= 1-0 loss
Brentford away= 3-0 loss
Forest away= 2-1 loss
Newcastle away= 2-0 loss
Fulham away= 3-1 loss
Overall record
Played= 17
Won= 1
Lost= 9
Draw= 7
Scored= 11
Conceded= 25
Clean sheets= 2
Failed to score= 7
Points= 10
So basically we were absolute garbage from start to finish. Averaging less than a point a game, scoring way less than a goal a game etc. It was pitiful.
And now yesterday we got another draw to add to the collection. Let's see how this Sky jinx unfolds because there's no doubt we'll be on the box on the regular once again.

I think we've just been rubbish in general, so it follows that we'll have been disappointing in the majority of sky games. One thing about being on sky that might affect the team, is that it usually means playing after everyone else, so you've got a bit of added pressure, in terms of playing catch-up.
As it happens we're on Sky thistuesday Wednesday, against Colchester.

So that's three games we've been on sky this season. Two in the league and one at Colchester. I know we haven't done that bad thus far, but honestly we're gonna need to start winning games on the box because you just know sky are gonna pile on the fixtures for us this year.

Blimey we have the Sky jinx and the away game jinx? One more for the hat trick?
Though I think we could be in a manager jinx?
