Re: Jack Grealish
First Lerner, now Xia. Leicester have had a good run of things, haven't they, while it's all gone wrong for us again and again. I'm looking forward to seeing what's what in August. If Grealish goes there's nothing we can do about it. O'Hare has some very big boots to fill.

Re: Jack Grealish
If Grealish was to leave I think we'd probably try and loan a similar type of player from one of the academies of a top Premier league club to replace him for the season.
I know people rate O'Hare but he's nowhere near Grealish's level, and I don't think we can go into a season relying on him to be our creative force, besides he's just picked up a long-term injury and is going to miss all of pre-season and the start of the season, so it will be a while before he's ready.

West Ham, Leicester and Everton all said to be interested in Grealish. If he is going, get the auction started but try to take players in on loan as part of any deal, with their parent club picking up their salary as part of the deal.

Re: Jack Grealish
I'm still clinging onto the hope that we can somehow keep Grealish, surely we're due at least one piece of good news it's been a relentless avalanche of disasters for the past five or so years.
I've just seen it pointed out that on each occasion after selling our previous best players Barry, Milner, Young, Dowing and Benteke, despite reinvesting the money in the team we got worse, with selling Grealish we wouldn't only lose our best and most iconic player in a generation but wouldn't even be allowed to reinvest any of the money to even attempt to improve the side.

The other positive factor as well is Grealish is one of ours and wants to stay. Just please not with Bruce's tactic...

Thank fuck, you can keep him all to yourself. I've got enough dickheads on my FB friendslist as it is.

On the one hand i would be pleased for Jack to go to Spurs as Pochettino would develop him as a player. On the other Levy is taking the piss at £15 mil. If he does go three words - Buy Back Clause !

Would be typical move by Levy, always wants to buy cheap and sell on at max value

Maybe he could just buy the whole club?

The club is probably not worth more than 15m at the moment? Xia had better stay hiding in Beijing?

Re: Jack Grealish
At £15m they should all be told to fuck off. However I can’t help but think that the desperate fuckwit that is our owner will sell off anything and everything in an attempt to save face and get his purchase fee back in some form. He’s no better than the chancer who previously owned our neighbours. I fucking can’t stand the bloke for what he’s brought on this club.

I reckon they will settle at 22 million plus a couple of add ons, like an England cap, plus a loan player.

Still stupid in my opinion. 22m in todays massively over inflated market for your prized asset who loves the club (Which helps as surely he wouldn't do anything to hurt the club such as putting in a TR or whatever) would be criminal and if he left for that my support would be leaving this club with him.

Re: Jack Grealish
Going nowhere apparently as Nassef has told Levy 'we don't want your money'! Brilliant! This is a classic as Levy originally offered 3m plus Onomah robbing little dickhead!

Re: Jack Grealish
That is good news and I an getting quite optimistic for this season as I don't think there are any 'stand out' teams this season unlike last season and the season before!

Re: Jack Grealish
Well that's according to Sky... But they also say that Grealish wants to leave and is desperate to play in the Champions league, so it might be the case that he puts in a transfer request, so I wouldn't get too excited untill after five tomorrow, or if the club make an official announcement before then.

Re: Jack Grealish
I don't think he will go as he has no chance of getting into the Spurs side at the moment, he definitely still needs to up his game. Still I suppose if he fancies sitting on the bench on double his money who can blame him.

I still expect him to leave & who could blame him for wanting to go?
I hope he stays, but whatever the outcome, good luck to the fella.

Re: Jack Grealish
So, Villa tell Spurs that Jack is going nowhere and because this upsets the (London biased) establishment, they make up a fictitious story about the Villa supporting Grealish being really unhappy about not being allowed to leave his boyhood club! Yeah right! He may still go of course, simply because they put in an offer that we cannot refuse, but Grealish won't sulk about anything, he's not a poncey poser like Alli is or like Bale was.

Re: Jack Grealish
Kevan Grealish his brother has come out on twitter, and said the article in the Mirror claiming he's heartbroken, and has threatened to run down his contract, is a load of rubbish.
