He's currently in conversation with the HR dept to explain why he's violently scribbled his name out of the contract.

YouTube highlights could make westwood look good tbh, but he looks a player to me, good luck son, hat-rick first game would do nicely.

Reports are that Hogan could be back in less than a month all being well. That's better than I expected.

He has to have a scan when the swelling goes down, nothing compared either way yet but fingers crossed

Hard to be, based on what we've seen of him so far. There are of course a few factors in it so it would be wrong to write him off altogether at this point, but he certainly hasn't provided any answers yet.
All the best to him for a swift recovery though.

Re: Scott Hogan
He's had no chance to show himself. Nobody gives him anything to play off. He makes so great runs and shows excellent movement but kodjia shoots from 40 yards instead. Anyone calling him shite hasn't been watching properly. Poor guys getting fuck all off the rest of our shower of shit

Re: Scott Hogan
To be honest I don't think anybody could play with Kodjia!
Hogan is much more of a team player which when we eventually play as a team will be a major influence and benefit.
Far too early to write him off, to be fair none of our January signings have actually set the world on fire, could that have something to do with formations and changing of them all the time?

To be fair its early days and the supply line to him hasn't been great. But that said from what I have seen the guy can barely trap a ball - on the few occasions he gets the ball he just falls over. Big improvement needed IMO.

Indeed, see my comment about other factors. I don't believe he is shite, but equally I don't believe we've (or rather I've - I shouldn't speak on behalf of anyone else) seen anything to have an opinion either way yet.

I quite like what I've seen from him. His movement looks better than anyone we've had up front the last 10-15 years. He clearly knows how to finish as well. I'll take that. Lets just get a supply line going.
It's a bit absurd that we get RHM to sign a new contract, he gets a chance when Hogan gets injured, but then RHM is injured as well. We just can't catch a break.

Re: Scott Hogan
To judge Hogan on the first few games with the way the team are playing is not really fair on any of the new players. Let us get everyone settled in and then see.
When is Hogan due back? Any announcements yet?

4 - 5 weeks I heard.
@Joppe84 RHM got himself injured ages ago, at that point he decided to sign his new contract (what a surprise), so he was already injured before Hogan joined us and I would be surprised to see him back this season.

Re: Scott Hogan
So anyone know how long RHM is out for? I'd like to see him given a chance as he can't do worse than any other striker we've had in there this year (Barring Kodija's occasional glory moments but nothing else)

Re: Scott Hogan
This guy is getting beyond defendable now. Even by his poor standards he reached a new low tonight. Not content with air kicking a perfectly decent cross - he then blocks a goalbound villa effort off line as he fell over...
He can't head it, he can't control it, he can't beat a man, he can barley stay onside or upright...and he has no pace....I'm not exaggerating when I say he is the worst player ive seen for many a year....

I think your being harsh no way he could get out of the way of hourihane shot also think he will come good with a good manager who actually wants to play football

He is one of a number of players who it is often mooted "could come good" under a different manager. Assuming Bruce keeps his job indefinitely, said players will be useless to us and further seasons in the Championship may await us and them.
