Nice to hear Adomah say that the new manager has "come in" & now everyone is "buzzing" - changing tactics & personnel is one thing but kick-starting a feelgood factor is good news. Couple that with an ugly draw with a top table side who have come off a 5-0 win & I'm not complaining.

Frustrating that we're still sixteenth and five points off the play-offs, having had such a good run since Bruce came in. We're inevitably going to lose some time soon as well, and that may come when we're least expecting it. Just shows what a disastrous appointment Di Matteo could turn out to be.

Still if we're within touching distance of the play-offs come January then we still have a chance. I still wouldn't write us off for automatic promotion just yet, especially if we can say, half the gap before the transfer window opens.

i think automatic promotion is a bit too far but i would have us nailed on for the playoffs, i think the brighton game showed that most teams are now scared of us.

The nice aspect of our current form is that it still feels like we're in third gear.

We've picked up points and our defence and organization has been very good. Especially collective pressure which I think is the most important factor in a successful side.

However we have so many players that have so much to go on. Especially McCormack, Grealish, Ayew. Could even argue that we are not fielding our strongest squad tbh. Get Bacuna in for Hutton and Tish in for Westwood.

I've just watched the goals from Leeds Newcastle, what is evident is Gayle etc chase down balls & make the runs into the box to get on the end of crosses, at present although we are getting better we do not do this, when we do whip the ball across mostly there is no one there or they are too late getting there. Maybe once we get the midfielders we expect in we will start doing this, we are due to give someone a tanking we have threatened but not completed it, IT WILL HAPPEN.

Hopefully the midfield gets sorted in January, but I think we need more than one man to be making the runs or even to have the idea to make these runs, we shall see.

Awful game.

Technically we are very poor, there's little movement off the ball, we don't play as a team...

The ref was a fucking clown and whoever said we should lodge a complaint was spot on.

Chester was at fault for their goal, wondering off and losing his man. Gabby was pointless as was Gardner. Grealish and Ayew looked good when they came on but aside from Jedi, our whole midfield needs replacing. It's s joke.

Amavi is a shadow of the marauding player that we signed. Hutton simply cannot cross a ball so I'm at a loss as to how he'a getting in ahead of Bacuna.
Plus side is that Brighton are flying, are hard to get goals against at home and we easily matched them.

Some signs that we're coming out of the darkness that RDM put us in but there's still a long way to go.
