I know it was a friendly and we were in a new away kit in the late 1960s but I don't know who the opposition were that day.

Played nearly a hundred times for his country, with a better than 1 in 5 scoring ratio and played for them for over a quarter of a century, last playing for them three years ago. Scored on his Villa debut, and played in at least 7 different countries in his career.

I suspect TBE saw him play in a testimonial for Villa once...

Happened once against Burnley, we ran out first for a change and were wearing tracksuit tops for some reason. We lost 0-3  so were booed off at the end too

Flip me that is hard. Could easily be Yorke but it's not.

Edit, I'd say Carew only i reckon he made his Norway debut late 90s so hardly quarter of a century..

Yep, me an'all.

Played in seven different countries? Not English then.

I was thinking Nii Lamptey but he's played in about eleven countries and only had a five year career at international level.
