Burnley H - Almost Sold Out ?
Just tried to buy a ticket for the above game (not for me) - the whole on line thingy was red - with a few limited availability in the Doug Ellis Upper........This one looks like a sell out...

That's really great to see. I just checked and there was 1 seat left for home fans in the entire ground, in P5, Doug Ellis Upper! It certainly feels like we've got our Villa back, thanks in no small part to Mr Sherwood (and of course the players)!

It would be fantastic to be going to a full Villa park again. Slightly sour note, where were the supporters when we were losing. Attendances were in the low 20k.
Ok so I will stop being a misery, and am really glad to see Villa park alive, its amazing what one man can do. Tim Sherwood take a bow son.

Hey, I was always there watching dire football and seeing us lose, even went to away games. But, like I said back then, when the footy and results are crap people "can't afford it" but when we're playing well and winning suddenly they find a way

We are all so judgemental as fans we are all different with our levels of support just because of this it doesn't mean we have to pick holes out of others.
Back in the day Football was dirt cheap now it isn't so you have a choice to make sometimes people just don't want to be depressed every time they go and stay away. I've been a season ticket with the misses since O'Neill took over and I can honestly some days in the past few seasons I wanted to walk away from it because it was emotionally draining. You will have the hardcore fans in any club but at the end of the day if you cheer for Villa we are one.

I'm going off personal experience - I know people who gave up season tickets under McLeish or Lambert because they "couldn't afford it," miraculously they've all reappeared in the last 2-3 months and now want Wembley tickets.
By no means is this everyone, and it is bloody expensive, but just what I've seen first hand

Re: Burnley H - Almost Sold Out ?
The internet makes it much easier, I still see every game. But if my finances improve I'll be there, as shit as we've been in recent years, money is the only reason I haven't been going down much. Still, I made some bad life choices, and missing out on Villa is part of the fallout!
However, as we've been shit since I stopped going (MON's last season was my last as a season ticket holder after 20 years), I feel like I might be to blame for the past 5 years... :)

Lot of money - I go at the moment - but when my kids turn 18 - I won't be shelling 3 lots of £550 - thats just expenditure I couldn't justify - sad but true.

I think you've confused us with another site Meregreen, if you want to post here do it respectfully. If you want to insult posters then there are other forums that will suit you better.Meregreen wrote:NARLA24 wrote:Officialy sold out!!!!!!

For the record, the official site has about 50 or so seats left in awkward to watch from or restricted view areas. That's not b*llsh*t that's official.

Re: Burnley H - Almost Sold Out ?
I looked earlier and it was sold out. I look now and it's very limited availability.
Basically I think it comes down to our shite online ticketing.

The website is awful. Heard so many bad stories over the past month or so, it seems to be getting worse.

I tried to use it once, genuinely never again. Less stressful sitting on hold for 40mins
