They think it means EY will force a sale but the receivers have to act in the best interests of BIHL and ALL of its directors, not BCFC, and selling the club means they lose their listing on the Hong Kong stock exchange - so this won't happen!

I think on paper it's actually good news for them, but then as Dan said, it's probably going to be more complicated than people think. Though I don't pretend to know enough about this stuff, and the legal obligations or what-not. I have my own business, but it's the middle of the afternoon and I'm typing this whilst still in bed, so, y'know, I'm not exactly head of a major corporation  :)

Apparently Birmingham City have had to pay a huge up-front fee to Ernst & Young.

Currently the FA are investigating rumours of foul play as it appears some time after the cheque was written, made payable to Ernst & Young, someone had crossed out "Ernst" and replaced it in wobbly biro with "Carson" Very Happy

And people were shocked at how Glasgow Rangers were run and how their issues just haven't gone away. More and more malpractice keps coming to light. When Ernst and Young start digging in to how the shambles at St Andrews has been run and operating it will make Rangers look professional.
