Thanks Trotters.. At what point did Aston Villa accept such an abysmal period in the club's history? Not one second half goal scored since opening day? I mean that is an incredibly bizarre and disgraceful stat that sits alongside 7 goals scored in 13 games by only 3 goalscorers. 32 points from 37 games since Dec 4th let year and 3 points from last 9 games..
He has seen off now 3 staff he appointed, yet he remains? At no other club would he still be in a job..
This "stability" line of thought from Lerner is crazy as both short and long term stats show exactly where retaining Lambert is taking us… Straight to the Championship and could be a while there with the likes of Leeds Utd, Forest, Derby, Sheff Wed, Boro etc
