Chris Herd in pre season action against Chesterfield
Chris Herd has joined Bolton on loan until November 8, Aston Villa have confirmed.
Herd, 25, who is in the final year of his contract, was an unused substitute for last month's Capital One Cup defeat to Leyton Orient, but has not been included in a single Premier League matchday squad this season.
He returned to the first team fold in the summer after missing the final months of last season because of personal issues.

Agent Herd could make his debut against Chelsea in the Capital One Cup. No doubt Keano will have given him his 'seek & destroy' mission debriefing!

I can see Hazard playing. Fabregas might come on if needed. Costa won't, that was just my wishful thinking
