Villa end of season awards.
Even though the awards night was cancelled without anything being publicly stated by the club, these are the award winners:
Fabian Delph has undoubtedly been Villa's star of the season - and now it's official after he scooped four major awards.
Delph was voted Fans' Player of the Year, sponsored by Mars.
Delph was also named Players' Player of the Year, sponsored by Jackson Building Services.
The marauding midfielder has also picked up the Turkish Airlines Player of the Year and the Goal of the Year, sponsored by Mikrofill - for his brilliant winner against Chelsea at Villa Park in March 2014.
No.2 was the superb overhead kick of Christian Benteke against Norwich and No.3 was another Delph effort, his thunderbolt against West Bromwich Albion.
Leandro Bacuna has also come in for praise after picking up two prestigious gongs.
Bacuna won Fans' Young Player of the Year, sponsored by Crescent Press.
The Dutchman also scooped Players' Young Player of the Year, sponsored by FIAT.

Thanks for that run down on who won what. I can't imagine it was as enjoyable a night as it might have been had we had a better season.

It didn't take place. Strangely enough, the Terrace Trophy was presented at BMH two weeks ago. Did they know that this night was in doubt at that point?

Well if they did they kept it very quiet. Must be lots of people after refunds as the dinner was only cancelled the day before. Bloody strange decision to make at such short notice.

My thoughts exactly. A lot of people to let down, especially corporate customers.Fergal wrote:It's almost as if something was going to happen.
