Were Guilbert and Luiz injured? Replacing them with more forward-minded players does not make sense so late in the game.

If we had to because they were tired then we obviously do not have the quality to replace them with equally competent substitutes in their role, which was primarily a defensive-first one today.

Sure, I would have been happy with a point. We still lost points from a winning position. It may suggest that our tactics and first XI is pretty good but we don't have the depth on the bench. If we had a player of the standard of e.g. James Milner to bring on for either of Guilbert or Luiz we probably would have got at least a point today.

I don't care how well you play for 85 minutes, if you turn a win into a loss in the last 10 questions need to be asked.

At the end of the day it was a great performance, we were under extreme pressure towards the end thanks to lots of help from the ref, he gave them loads of free kicks for innocuous tackles where we didn't get many, I'm pretty sure he was the same ref at Arsenal and the same thing happened, the free kick at the death on the 18 yard line their players were joining onto the wall, even the commentators noticed and said they have to be at least a metre away, anyway I said it was a free hit and we nearly pulled it off, we now have some games where we have more of a chance, UTV.
