Things have got a lot more difficult, we are down to 8th now and not kicked a ball, can we do the business and get back up there????

Really don't get why we are playing Snodgrass and not O'Hare

Pretty much every result has gone our way, but that's happened a few times recently and we haven't been able to win our own game to take advantage.

So true, just got to hope that this time we do the business, us & Brucie have a good record against em, but the Bristol team is probably their best for years.
Do the players want it as much as us................

They're terrified of Grealish when we've got the ball on the deck and passing it

Well I have to be pleased with 2-0 and especially Hogan scoring. Not saying our football is superb - it's never going to be under potato head - but an away win at Boro followed by (hopefully) a win today is a pretty good new year.

Re: Villa v Bristol City match thread
Grealish looks great, pretty much the only player we have capable of passing the ball forwards. Excellent pass for Hogan's goal.
Great headers from Jedinak and Hogan.
We did however look absolutely fucking shit up to 2-0. We looked the same shit hopeless hoofball side we've been all season. 2-0 gave a bit more confidence, but still we are utterly unable to create anything without hoofing or crossing the ball.
I'm sorry. Great result so far, but the football is piss poor. When the football from 2-0 onwards counts for great football, then you know how far we have sunk with this "Steve Bruce football".
And Snodgrass has to be the worst PL winger I've seen ever. How he ever got into a PL team I'll never know. Slow as shit on warm asphalt and utterly left legged on the right wing. Couldn't hit a cross with his right foot to save his life. Just a poor player. Why on earth he is playing above O'Hare I'll never know.
Good for Hogan. He looked 20 kg lighter after that goal.

2-0 leads are dangerous for us as we saw with Sheffield United recently, Preston last season, and Leicester the season before that, Bristol City get one and we'll fall to pieces.
Grealish comfortably our best footballer.

Not the best of streams, as it's someone filming their laptop, but better than nothing...

I guess that's why.
We're given just enough to keep us hanging on aren't we?
