I think he was in the USA (or had just returned from there) when he made that announcement so I'd say it's more than likely to do with his business interests there.

It might also not be a single deal rather than the conclusion of several negotiations across a number of industries involving his city-building projects that all added up to the figure quoted.

Maybe it is to do with the 'logistics' company he was buying in the States?

A '4.2B' deal doesn't necessarily mean that he's brought anything. It could be that one of his companies has gotten a contract with the government and it will involve 4.2 billion worth of investment, from the state. Think the Smart Cities side of his business have been involved in similar sized deals in the past.

If he has brought something it might be that he's agreed in principle pending due diligence or something like that. Pretty sure that it won't be directly related to Villa, but I'm sure we'll find out more with time.

This tweet was a reference to Teamax signing an agreement with 'China Unicorn' (big state owned mobild phone operator) to build smart cities in Chongqing.

China Unicorn? It's the total randomness of this that I love. It's almost Family Guy-esque.

Oops that's me not reading it properly, it's actually China Unicom. As it turns out there is a Chinese restuarant in Scotland called China Unicorn though.

If that thing about 80 billion $ is correct then Tony, as a owner of Recon Holding Group, is by far the richest man on planet.
