Tottenham new stadium
Spurs expect to be in their new ground by 2017 and levy reckons there are 47,000 on the season ticket waiting list - if true they will soon pull even further away from us and we will be on a par with the likes of stoke and southampton - how sad to see this great club at a standstill while others progress

Re: Tottenham's new home
I'd like to know how Spurs are funding this. I'm guessing the season ticket prices are horrendous which would cover much of it and, despite being a scummy looking bloke, Levy is light years ahead of Lerner so no doubt he's got some very creative income lined up.

Agreed with eastie. Villa's stature in the game is dropping considerably.
It's sad to see us languish. We have been overtaken by a good few clubs.

Tottenham's new home
It'll be open by 2017, and it'll be on White Hart Lane's existing site. There's only one problem.

Our none-executive board members were going to change all that, remember?

When we got a billionaire owner in 2006 I expected that we'd be competing regularly at the top table.
I never thought we'd wind up where we have been the last few years looking enviously at players playing for teams like Southampton and Swansea.

You don't think it looks like Arsenal's ground?
(BTW - I think we have our first duplicate thread)

Oh! You're right. I've never paid the slightest bit of attention to the Emirates until I googled it just now.
It does look like a copy and paste job, huh? Good spot.

Tottenham are a well-run club. We are not. Simple as that.
