The Unwanted One:- Nigel Pearson
I would have balked at him, even 24 hours ago !!! - but for somw weird reason I am warming to him - maybe its the fact that I don't beleive Moyes is coming, and I don't believe now is the time for a visionary such as a Garde.
We need as ass kicker to drill the current tosspots to stop conceeding goals, he has recent premier experience , and came out on top when relegation was starring him in the face. Will he come with a 5 year plan, and have hutton and gestede performing passing triangles across the park probably not, is he one for the long term probably not - of the available managers could he grab the squad by the scruff of the neck, and give us a fighting chance over the next 20 or 30 games ......i think just maybe, just maybe,

It's the "maybe" that will be applied to any manager. There's not one manager that you'd look at and say "Yes! He'll save us from the drop". Not one. Given his current mood, I'd even put Mourinho in that group.
So it comes down to guessing who the "best worst" is.

I agree with you smetro. I can't stand Pearson as a person and wouldn't want him anywhere near our beloved club but I do think he is prominent on the short list of managers who MAY be able to keep us up.

I disagree, I don't think any manager has a better chance then the next man.
An if anything we need someone fluent in English as well as French.

No to Pearson, just fucking no. We have just got rid of one absolute embarrassment both of a man and manager, the notion of letting another undignified, loud-mouthed, divisive twat of questionable sanity take the helm is breathtakingly dumb.
At least Lithium Tim was able to charm the press, even if it was ultimately for malignant purposes. That fucking idiot Pearson seems to want to fight the press guys in the car park.

I'm with ember on this one, remember when he tried to fight the Newcastle player (can't remember who it was) last season ?

NO!
Unstable thug who Leicester felt they needed rid of even when he was successful.
The single thing that reassures me about Lerner's regime is they're very unlikely to employ anyone who will bring the club into disrepute (except for on the pitch) and who isn't media savvy. That means no to the likes of Pearson. I think I'd rather see us relegated than be associated with that a$$hole.

Then again we could always have the combination of Pearson with Barton as the interpreter lool now that would be special!
I remember the interview Barton did with a French accent beautiful.
