Official Villa site

Guys can anyone tell me is there any use for the Official Villa site?

When I go to the latest news, they simply rehash newspaper gossip (which we all know is 99% BS)

I would have thought that they should only show true stories from the media. We all get wound up with next to nothing coming from the club.
Maybe it is a good thing, but it is so frustrating. I wish they would drop the "Villa in the news" section.

Apart from Official announcements what is the point?

To fool the potential American/ Chinese buyer into thinking everything is just fine.

Easiest job in the world, news officer for avfc.

I think it's sole purpose is to remind all Villa personnel when the next game is.

I can't imagine there's much enthusiasm from whoever updates at the moment - they're probably terrified of avoiding what they're not supposed to say. I'm expecting a big re-vamp soon.

They are revamping the site soon, the same company that did Evertons website.

I hope the site can support iPad. It really gets to me when I can't log onto avtv and watch a video because flash player is not supported. Going via photon just adds to the problem. Does the Everton site enable video to play on apple iPhones / iPads? Anyone know on here?

Well I'm trying to order the new away shirt and a polo shirt and am having problems, now I only use a couple of passwords whatever sites I'm on and I can't seem to log in so have now requested a new password link 4 times, each time I never get the email to reset password even though it says it's been sent, the items keep disappearing from my bag, a totally inept experience of trying to order online.

I RECON you have ordered 4 shirts already, could this be the Xia master plan to fund new signings?
