Our defence and central midfield looks league one material

Tell you what. I'm sticking my neck out here, but I think Hutton will be a much better player for us under Bruce than before.

\only caught the second half - we look exactly - I mean exactly like we've looked all season to me - currently looking to give them a goal in the last 5 mins. Hope the first half was better than this tripe.....

Good luck Steve Bruce, you're up against it with this lot. Statues when out of possession, dumb with possession. On tonight's showing McCormack has no place in the starting 11

We all know we're shite. I didn't expect anything better under Bruce.
My two cents:
1) I kept looking at Elphick and Chester and there is something fundamentally wrong with their positioning in respect to each other. They seem utterly unaware what their respective jobs are. Wolves nearly scored 3 times just in the second half cause they both tried to intercept at the same time.
2) Grealish is dogshit. I'm calling him out. He is not a good player. No pace. No ability to beat player. No shots. Weak as piss. Pulls out of ALL challenges that can get physical. What a fucking girl. Pansy.
3) We just need rougher, tougher, taller men in this team. So many utter weak as piss sugarbags. They wouldn't cut it in the pub teams around Oslo, and I'm not even kidding.
4) We HAVE to play a 3 man central midfield. It HAS to be Jedi as Anchor and Tish with in front. They simply are not good enough to cut it as a two man midfield. We've seen this for half a season now.

Yep, pretty underwhelming stuff, only bright spot result-wise is we didn't lose, but that's more of a 10 watt light bulb than a bright spot. Hard to tell from the amount I saw but it still seems to be the same issues, which is worrying on one hand because some of the team were different, but possibly fixable if it's a coaching/mental thing.
Still not sure if the work ethic is good enough, but that is one thing that Bruce should fix as it's a strength of his.
We still look way off the pace and the tempo looks too slow.

If I'm honest I thought the last 10 minutes that we looked unfit.

We're way too slow, seem unable to find a team-mate with a pass & have no fight.
Jedi as an anchor? think he has one in each boot he's that slow

another piss poor performance, we have to many players that wait for the ball to cone to them, no pressure off the ball, we lost every 2nd balk as no one anticipating ball or looking for 2nd ball, I fear we are going down if not be close to bottom, our players have no fight or urge to play, McCormack was constantly telling the players to pressure and push up, but either they were deaf or couldn't be arsed.

Clueless and shit, we'll be lucky to stay in this league and I don't think it'll be the fault of whoever manages us. Absolutely diabolical, worse than dogshit in the second half.

A lot of people are going mad over that result but come on lets get some perspective please..
1. Bruce has barely had two training sessions with the team
2. He still doesn't even have an assistant or goalkeeper coach yet
3. It's the same team who has thrown away lead after lead this season, confidence isn't gonna grow overnight with these guys
4. We're still unbeaten at home
The good thing with Bruce today is he made some good subs. Jedinak was garbage and he took him off. Elphick is a liability and he took him off aswell. I'm sure we'll see a different side on Tuesday at Reading tbh and it's just a matter of when we can get that next win under our belts to get the season going.
Idiots on twitter are saying "the play-offs are beyond us now" but the ironic thing is we've actually closed the gap between us and sixth place by one point!!..we're only nine points behind now .

We were very lucky to finish with 11 men still on the pitch. Chester should have walk for numerous yellows, an Eagle eyed ref could have booked Grealish for his petulance and how did Cissoko escape a booking for his handball?

Awful performance. Poor play all over the pitch and Wolves were robbed. I actually despise Saturdays at the moment as i have to suffer this lot ruining it week in week out. 4 wins in 55! Pfft! what a joke.

He's got his work cut out. McCormack is the only player pressing & they simply pass round him. The rest of them neither try to press or hold their position. They wait for the opposition to receive the ball control it, get comfortable then they half heatedly try & tackle whitest jogging towards them.
Good individuals, poor team.

Excellent! PMSL. Can't wait to get the kids parked in front of that and introduce them to some social realism...............TBH anything feels like light relief after another stunning performance against Wolves

We saw it again today one of the reasons we are where we are and it is glaringly obvious, we fashion a situation for once, Kodjia has his back to goal & a player tight on him, does he look or is he aware that McCormack is 5 yards away totally unmarked No does he roll it to him to slot home NO he tries to turn & take the shot under pressure, WHY THE F**K DON'T WE EVER PASS.
And I second what Joppe says we looked totally unfit towards the end, makes you wonder what they have been doing all the week or the weeks gone by.

I'd rather Bruce see that desperate 2nd half than a storming win.
He knows what he's working with now
