The New Members Thread
As it says in the title, a chance to register your FIRST post. It can be anything, on ANY topic, Like with many forums, the first post is the hardest and it's tempting to stay as a 'read only' member, however, we want to try and encourage ALL our members to post and get involved, so be inventive, insightful, speculate, pass on a rumour you've heard, anything goes....Just as long as it's polite...
So over to you guys, get typing and pop your 'posting' cherry! I'm sure once you've got started the rest will be easy. Welcome to TBAR

Re: The New Members Thread
Actually 2nd post - but as nobody else has had a go yet I thought I would, so ...
Am I the only one fed up with all the negativity and moaning? Well this is a Positive post.
Reasons to be Cheerful
1. 4 new signings, all in positions we were weak last year.
2. All of the above have PL experience and a mixture of International, World Cup and Champions League experience.
3. 6 returning players who hardly featured last year. All adding competition for places.
4. All 6 are full internationals and have something to prove, so last season's auto picks need to liven up.
5. Benteke and Kozak on the way back to add some goalpower. So, in total that's 12 additional players who weren't involved in the last 2/3 months capitulation after the Chelsea game.
6. Youth development. Grealish earning good reviews, Robinson breaking through and Gardner surely due an injury free season to show he is better than his brother.
7. Roy Keane - a winner - and not a man you want to meet in the dressing room if you haven't given 100% on the pitch.
8. It's a new season, if you can't be optimistic in August you really need to find another hobby. And anyway the official BBC league table has us in 2nd place - that's Champions League form so far....:-)
9. There's still most of the £10M in the transfer kitty, so maybe we will get a decent defensive midfielder after all. (Darren Fletcher..?)
10. Struggling now... help me out !
Up the Villa!!!
