Great player for club, though i'd say another who failed to live up to his Media hype at least for England

Him and Lampard were last of the old guard really from the so called "Golden Generation" who managed to win the square root of fook all and have disappointed badly in the last 3 tournaments

Still can't believe Woy has kept his job as England manager, needed a whole new approach after the world cup shambles

Terrific player for Liverpool who failed to even get close to playing as well for England as he did for Liverpool.

A very decent player made to look better playing in a very poor Liverpool squad for many years until Buck Rodgers took over. Probably why he was continually found wanting on the international stage and why the rest of the golden generation also failed to achieve anything.

They were all overrated.
