Nice to see most going with the bomb squad of Hutton , nzogbia and bent.

Don't think this is our strongest 11.

This is how I'd line up the team for the first match. And I appreciate it looks crazy!!! BUT

Hutton, N'Zogbia and Bent were all mediocre players when we were a top 10 team. We aren't a top 10 team right now. If I were manager, I'd go out of my way to show them I believed in them as players, even if I don't think they're better than what we've got, to get them back into the squad.

Interestingly, I'm the first person mad enough to start Hutton... probably a bad sign, as I've never rated him, but I don't really rate our other backs much either...

I've probably over-done it, and would introduce some of the "bombed out" players over a few games, to keep a more solid core, but I think it has to be done to get anything in return for their wages...

Can I just say when Hutton slid in on Balotelli, in around the35th minute, when pool were starting a bit of pressure, and "accidentally" caught him in the beanbag.... It was a moment of pure delight for me.

Humble pie for not rating you.
