Niklas Helenius
Nicklas Helenius' agent Mads Bach Lund confirms his client is seeking 1st team football and wants to leave Aston Villa.
"Helenius would like to return to the newly crowned Danish champions (AaB Aalborg). There hasn't been any official discussions yet, We have evaluated the season and we've to say no indication of 1st team football ever arose" [quotes via B.T.]
Feel sorry for the poor lad, but I for all wish him all the best.
With Nick wanting to leave, here's my question, who's next?

Re: Niklas Helenius
You can't blame anyone for wanting first team football, good luck to him.

Re: Niklas Helenius
As has been mentioned before round here, the rumour is that he has a stinking attitude.
I guess he'll forever go down as 'that guy who had his shorts pulled down'. It was his one memorable moment at the club.

Heard about the attitude. How come this was not spotted before he signed for us ? Or did he develop the attitude after he had signed.?

Re: Niklas Helenius
Any player that wants to leave our club especially one who can't get into our present team at the moment can go with the good riddance sign on him.

Like many of Lambert's!
Quick, I need another striker! Next time I am losing in a game I can throw on four strikers to score.

He could have at least made every player run to the front post for corners, and put our best long-shot player on the D to get us goals!
Couldn't be much worse than Westwood's floaty bollocks.
Re: Niklas Helenius
Probably off him and he will turn out to be the mutts nuts...

whatever happens, you cannot take it away from him - he has a great name.
Looked good whenever I saw him, but what the hell do I know!

I know, apart from Guzan, Vlaar, Delph, Westwood, Bacuna, Benteke , Albrighton and possibly Clark, and Kozak it is pretty hard to care about much of the squad we currently have.

I thought initially that we'd got a good one there. Oh well.
Mind you, in terms of attitude, if I saw Weimann and Holt being selected ahead of me... :)

Yes that's my view as well. The young man needs to look at himself.VillaBill wrote:Just how shit must he be not to get our current squad though ?

Re: Niklas Helenius
Says something about his character doesn't it, first year in england at a 'large' club coming from a relative unknown, doesn't want to stick it out and prove a point... Maybe there's an insight to the problem. If something smells of cheese it quite often is.
