Smith is trying to get the post out of the senior players, problem is they are not fit enough or just do not want to play as they are away this summer, will just have to see how this season pans out.then get DS to build a team that wants to play for villa, look at Michael Timbs and mc ginn that's the players we need.

I really think that Jedinak was not ready for the start after his long injury lay off. However I also suspect that both Jedi and Whelo are too old to play 90 minutes at this level and Bjarnson is just rubbish so we will have to put up with with the old fellas sharing the role till the end of the season? What do people think we tried to sign Fer, Hayden and Chalobah all of these would have solved this problem?

Listen the game was not as bad as people make out? I think Smith will stick with Kodija as Green's wing play and crossing made Hutton look like CR7 or LM10. It was a good header for the goal but all his crosses were amateurish! The missing link is still Grealish!
