If there is one thing that we'll need to consider it's their pace upfront, fair play they do have that. But they are fucking woeful in midfield and not much better in defence.
Fuck it, i'd go 433 and get right at em so they wont know what hit em. They'll go down faster than a fat kid riding solo on a see-saw.

LOL I know I've got the most wins this season (five out of the six wins) but I didn't start the Fulham thread so I decided to stay away and let the last guy get a run going if possible .

My last one was Wolves so needless to say, I needed a break after that

But anyway they've been different at home lately having beaten Wednesday and Cardiff in their last two games at the Sty. So we'll have to be careful. And when you add in the fact that this is without question their cup final, I see it being a tense affair. Vassell and Adams are their biggest threats and Jota would be too if he were playing. I hope we will see a big performance from Jimmy tbh!!..needs to really kick on now and weave his magic like he did last season. I also think Onomah could be a key figure in this game aswell. His drive from midfield could prove to be the difference in the end.

Not pessimistic or scared, just know that historically SHA ALWAYS raise their game when they play us, & if they win they live off of it for ages. Just hoping the boys are up for the challenge and that you have predicted the correct score.

After the awful performance against Wolves, then i'm hoping they will be well and truly up for it this time around! If not then for me, serious questions need to be asked of Bruce as it would have happened too many times already this season.

It's a big game, and not just because it's a local derby, more so because it's come at a crucial stage in our season. If we lose we could find ourselves dropping out of the top six, which would be quite demoralizing, having only just got there, and who knows if we'd have the character get back, on the other hand if we win, it could see us closing the gap on the top two.

Will be interesting to see where we stand this time next week having played two away games, hopefully things will still be looking positive.

That is the problem with this fixture besides being a local derby, SHA always raises their game against us, it is their cup final, they have absolutely nothing to lose as we have blatantly got the better squad and players, unfortunately we have difficulty transforming that fact onto the pitch!

fully agree, it will be 2 losses in 10, he must go.

From this moment on dropping out of the top six should be seen as akin to dropping into the relegation zone, promotion for us is that serious. Even now we're not where we should expect to be, we're under-achieving, it's Bruce's job to fix that.

Depending on results blues could be in the bottom 3 when we play them. That will put massive pressure on them, especially being at home, and they don't have the quality of player to cope with the pressure. We will score within the first 10 minutes and they will shit themselves and we will run out easy winners.

It's about time our strikers got going in terms of goals scored, if Kodjia can go on a run it might just be what propels us up the table, we need others to continue contributing as well though.

Been seeing some Blues fans act like the game is a formality, and we'll do them "3-0"!!..whilst also claiming "the pressure is all on Villa". But when I think of stuff like that I can only think of THIS

They are gonna give it everything and believe me it will be a battle out there. The key is to weather their early storm, quiet down the pigs and then start to let our better quality show as the game goes on. I hope we can make a statement in this game, but I think it will probably be a nervy affair.
