Club have announce Hisense Uk, as the the 'technological partner', they seem like quite a big company, and are essentially owned by the Chinese government; pity we couldn't get them to sponsor the matchday shirts, maybe they will once this season's over, I know that it was mentioned at the meeting with Wyness that discussions with the next shirt sponsor had already begun, so wouldn't be surprised if this is the start of Hisense becoming our main sponsors season after next.

Current sponsor is a one year deal only, I believe

Yeah, I saw a tweet from someone yesterday suggesting that Hisense will be our main sponsor next season. Which tbh would be a major coup when you consider they are state owned.

Club have announced that next season's kit will be designed by LUKE 1977 who are apparently a local company who's head designer is a Villa fan, and manufactured by 'Fanatics'.

Better than a faceless big name who doesn't actually care for the club IMO

The quality of the end product will be the deciding factor not the brand name on it

Fanatics are actually a multi billion dollar company, who make a lot of the sportswear for US sports teams, so they have plenty of experience. As for Luke77 looking at their website, I can't say I like the look of their clothes at all, but it doesn't really make much difference to me, as I don't wear football jerseys or the associated leisure wear, all I'm really bothered about is, whether it will help us with FFP or not.

You are correct they will feature a beard graphic on the front of the shirt.

Previous prototype designs that featured a plastic replica of a gas lamp sewn into the back of the shirt that stuck up 4 feet above the wearer were deemed not practical as the sticky out bar that the ladder rests on was interfering with attempts to head the ball.

But feck me what is the little logo on the left? It looks like a bird shat on the shirt. Apart from that there's a couple of nice designs and the recon logo looks cool. Nice to see a return to true claret as well.
