Villa v Reading - Match Thread
I won't waffle on with stats (because I'm useless when it comes to them!) but I do think it will be interesting to find out if Reading have been shell-shocked by the 7 goals Norwich hit them for or if they're ready to hand out a backlash.
We don't score lots of goals so them getting another pounding is out of the question. I'll go for another hard-fought 1-0 win. Goalscorer is obv.

1-1 if Kodj plays and 1-0 to them if he is not recovered?

It was only a dead-leg, yes? I imagine he'll be back.

He's on 19 goals so he will want all the games he can get to add to that total?

I've been betting high scoring wins for us all season and we never do it. I'm gonna go for a 1-0 win now. Watch us win by 5.

I Think we will win 2-1, Not sure why were the only Championship side playing on Saturday Whilst all the others play on Good Friday and to top all that we have to go again in less than 48hrs against Fulham, make's no sense to me as both games aren't even being televised.

Sorry guys, don't know how I missed that, especially being our last televised game.

3-1 Villa - stuff that prick with ears Stam. Whinging last time we played them that we shouldn't have been allowed to spend the money we did. Ex manure tosser.

That's what I'd like to see in this game given we now have the freedom to try and win a game without any real expectations.

I actually think it'll come down to us being on "the beach" and them right in the mix for promotion.
I see a reversal of the game at theirs.. 1-2 loss purely as they are desperate for points whilst we merely would like to finish well.

It was our decision not to play on Good Friday out of consideration for the local church, as games on Good Friday disrupt their church services.
Personally I think it's a nice touch, but I'm not sure how I'd feel if we were in the hunt for promotion or battling against relegation.

Re: Villa v Reading - Match Thread
I'm quite annoyed by this change on the Villa twitter account where the team news and line-up has been replaced by this utterly stupid GIF. Am I alone in this? Was like this the last match as well. I don't have a twatter account, but if anyone does, tell them the change sucks balls.

Yeah I think amavi has been a liability too often. Shame as I had high hopes for him once.

Re: Villa v Reading - Match Thread
Conceding goals early in both halves is annoying and smacks of not learning lessons. Mind you, and without seeing the game, if I'd seen our line up and I was Reading I'd be trying to punish us down our left flank.
I accept that where we are and the limited progress means we're not likely to be winning against a top 4 side, but apart from the snotnoses, wolves and the bar codes, losing against Reading hurts because of how much I hate Japseye Sam. I hated him at Manure and doubly so for his remarks earlier in the season after we beat them, saying we were anti-football.

Bruce really needs to make this side more robust in the summer. Every time we concede we stop playing pretty much. We were poor again second half
